Justin Ungar is a licensed professional counselor servicing individuals, couples, and families with therapeutic needs. He has a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling from western Connecticut state university. He has experience in both school and residential settings servicing children with autistic spectrum disorder, PDD, ADD/ADHD and other developmental issues. He has spent the last several years in residential substance abuse therapy specializing in co-occurring disorders. He utilizes motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and reality therapy. He believes the best way to create meaningful and lasting change is to meet clients where they are and allow them to guide the process.
