Juliette Hodge is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has been practicing in the mental health field for 8 years. She has worked with adults who have co-occurring Substance Abuse and Mental Health concerns, HIV/AIDS, Probation/Parole. She has extensive experience with teenagers who have behavioral problems, mental health issue, and attachment dysfunction. Juliette’s primary focus has been on helping youth negotiate the, often difficult tasks of growing up. In particular, she is interested in in foster care and adoptive homes and how to improve overall communication, build more adaptive structures, and develop appropriate expectations. She has experience working in outpatient and group home programs; conducting individual, group, and family therapy. Juliette utilizes several, evidenced based, treatment models such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, and attachment treatment. Juliette also has experience working with preschool aged children providing behavioral management techniques, social skills training, and parenting education. Juliette uses a client center approach where she collaborates with the client, the family, and the community in developing treatment goals. Juliette is excited to join the FAM program, where her unique skills and experience will benefit her families.
