Eileen Donnelly Phillips comes to Stokes Counseling with over ten years of experience working with children, adolescents and families. Eileen attended the University of Scranton graduating with a degree in Counseling and then followed to Adelphi University graduating with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Eileen began her career working with children conducting assessments and providing short term treatment to children with challenging behaviors, suffering from depression, anxiety and supporting them in getting the mental health treatment they need. Eileen has worked in and out school systems as a mental health consultant and school based clinician, working with students to support them in meeting their goals in school and working with parents and teachers on how to work as a team to assist the student in meeting their goals. Eileen has experience working with young children and believes in supporting young children and their parents when challenging behaviors begin before problems grow as children age. Eileen believes in supporting parents through providing a warm nurturing environment for counseling. Eileen enjoys topics related to health, wellness and exercise. In her spare time Eileen enjoys running, reading and spending time with her family.
